Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) show potential home buyers or tenants how energy efficient a building is. The EPC contains information on potential energy costs and carbon dioxide emissions. This is a legal requirement for properties, an EPC is valid for 10 Years.

We use energy reports and live EPC's to determine the band efficiency of a property. Band A is most efficient, band G is least. They are used to help us understand what changes can be made to the property to increase the energy efficiency. EPC system can generate recommendations for property, these are automatically produced. There are various elements that can effect the rating, an EPC gives an idea of why the rating may be low or good.

For ECO funding (Energy Reports):
If you have a property in the EFG region for efficiency we may be able to install measures completely free. A retrofit assessor will visit the property and create an energy report. This will be used to check the energy efficiency and recommendations can be made.
