There are various factors that will determine whether you are eligible to receive measures through government funding. This includes, but is not limited to:
- A property EPC rating of E,F,G
- Low efficient boiler
- First time central heating
- Receiving qualifying benefits​

The following provides further information on our process and who may qualify for ECO4
​
Property Rating
- The property must have a rating of E,F,G. This applies for both home owners and tenanted properties.

A member of our team will make an appointment to visit the property to carry out a survey and collect vital data. This includes taking picture evidence of aspects of the property to record in an energy report. The data is processed through a software, in turn it will provide the band rating of the property. We will also ask for a property address so we can check for a live EPC to determine whether the property may or may not qualify.
If the property is a low rating and falls into this efficiency band (E,F,G), the energy report we create will provide an insight on what measures will increase the SAP rating of the property. This information is shared with our in house retrofit co-ordinator who will create a design and plan to ensure the measures carried out comply with building regulations and installed up to standard. In some instances, the surveyor may be required to visit the property for extra information required.

Qualifying benefits
- When the surveyor visits the property, the benefit recipient must fill out an EST form. This gives permission to run the data through a confidential software to determine eligibility. Once a data match is established we will inform you of this and discuss the next steps.
- Surveyor will also be required to take a picture of proof of address. This is to evidence the benefit recipient does in fact reside in the property. If the property is owner occupied and the benefit recipient is a family member for example, evidence of utility bill in each individuals name will be required.
- If the benefit is child benefit, we require further document to evidence income as there is a threshold to be eligible through this route
Boiler
- Boilers can be replaced under ECO4 scheme if they have a low efficiency. This includes non condensing boiler to condensing boiler. Our team can check the efficiency of the boiler to determine whether it is eligible.

First time central heating
- If the property has gas room heaters or uses fixed electric wall heaters and there is no boiler present, you could qualify for first time central heating. This includes a free boiler, radiators and heating controls.

Applicants can receive a FREE quote to see whether or not they qualify for the measures. Please note this is an assessment online and will be given to the best of our ability based on the information provided. For a more thorough assessment and to process the application through the system to check eligibility we may require further details/information to proceed and a physical survey of the property. We will ask for permission and book an appointment in advance. We may need additional information which may be asked for on a later date. All information provided will remain confidential and comply with the Data Protection Act. Please note that not all candidates will be successful. Once the data is put through the system and the applicant is successful, it could take up to 3-5 days to book an appointment to install the measure.
